Wellington, have received cable adviiv from their London office, under dale 25' li instant, as follows :— "Frozen Meat. — 'Market dull at last quotations. Sheepskins. — Merino (Australian), combing sheepskins, id per lb higher ; merino clothing, prices unchanged ; crossbred combing, id higher ; ■ crossbred clothing, id to £d higher ; inferior crossbred combing, id higher; 5700 bales were offered, and practically all I wore sold. Tallow. — All descriptions par to 3d per cwt lower." The Bank of New Zealand has received tho following cable advic.o from, its London offide, dated tho 26th inst. : — "Compared with tho average of lank sales prices for practically all kinds of woollcd sheepskihs are 5 per cent, higher, ami for short and shorn crossbred skeopskins prices aro 5 per cent, lower." Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Welling! 911, report: — At thciv Upper Hutt sale held on Thursday, they offered a good ontrv of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance of the public. All classes of sheep met with keen competition) and there was a good demand for storo cattle, the demand for dairy cows having slackened off since last sales.
