AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES

Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. insert particulars in our auction columns of a sale of 1608 boxes of confectionery ; also a sale of furniture and groceries. On Wednesday, at the rooms, they will sell household furniture, and on Thursday and Friday, at 11 o'clock each day, they will sell 1000 unredeemed pledges on account of E. Metz. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. announce an auction sale on Wednesday next, at their rooms, 195, Lambton-quay, of a quantity of tree ferns, nikau palms, clematis, etc. An amended selection of properties for sale and to let is also advertised. Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. have received instructions from Mr. Briely to sell at the mart, 60, Lambton-quay, the contents of his eight-roomed house, retn6ved from The Terrace. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will sell on Wednesday, at noon, in the estate of C. H. Ordish, a house of five roomß, erected on level section having a frontage of 60ft by 232 ft 4jn in depth; also the two adjoining sections, 50ft by 165 ft respectively. The property is situated on the main road, Karon. At 1.30 p.m. on the same day the firm will also offer, at their rooms, a collection of furniture. On Friday, 3rd July, at 2 o'clock, at M'Gregor Wright's Art Gallery, they will offer 150 oil and water colours, by Edwin Fristom and other artists. Catalogues arc now ready. On Wednesday, 29th July, at 12 noon, under instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, the firm will offer by auction a five roomed house, on section 32, Hutt district; also section facing Brunswick-street, with house of six rooms. A revised list of city and suburban residential properties is advertised for sale by Messrs. Miller and Eutter, 35, Panama-street. Messrs. J. 11. Bethune and Co. advertise in this issue an amended list of business and residential properties which they have on their books for private sale 5 also, a number of houses to let, both furnished and unfurnished, offices and storeroom accommodation.
