In an action in which Arthur Shirley, actor, sued George Willoughby for £1000 damages, the plaintiff alleged that the defendant induced J. C. Williamson, Ltd.. to break their contract with the plaintiff, whereby he (plaintiff) was prevented from obtaining employment, and was injured in his profession. +ne jury awarded the plaintiff £500 damages. " stay of proceedings was granted.
