SOLLITT BROS., Ltd., PALMERSTON NORTH.
There are •some firms in Palmerston North who stand out on their own in the builders' line, and Sollitt Bros., Ltd., whose factory and yards are situated in East-street, Palmerston North, can be classed as the leading local firm. Some fine examples of their work is to be seen in the premises of 'Manson and Barr, appearing elsewhere. Practically all the larger worts throughout the town and district are carried out by Sollitt Bros., who employ a big staff of men throughout the year, and with such an up-to-date factory are able to make everything required on a job. The firm's sawmills are situated at Ohakune, and large supplies of the best timber are continually arriving, and thus they always have a good stock of well-seasoned timber on hand. .
