MR. ISITT AT HOKITIKA
HOKITIKA, 29th May. Mr. L. M. Isitt, M.P., addressed a public meeting here to-night. The weather, was unfavourable, and the Princess Theatre held only a small attendance. Mr. Isitt, who was subjected to frequent interruptions, spoke on tho same lines as Ins previous addresses in other p_arts of the Dominion. At the conclusion of the address a vote of thanks to the speaker and continued confidence in Sir Joseph Ward as Leader of the Liberal Party, was carried. An amendment was put, but not seconded. Cheers were given for Mr. Isitt and Sir Joseph Ward, and also for the Hon.' W. F. Massey.
