STEFANSSON'S EXPEDITION
KARLUK 'CRUSHED IN THE ICE. CREW MAROONED ON AN ISLAND (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received May 30, 1.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, 29th May. Sfcefansson's Arctic vessel Kariuk was crushed in the ice in January. The crew were marooned on Wrangel Island, and their fate is unkmown, according to private messages received through Arctic vessels and sailors' letters.
