At the half-yearly meeting of tha Mount Lyell Company, the Chairman said he anticipated extensive developments, and , vonsequently improved results. It \vas_ disappointing to have, to declare a dividend of not more than a shilling, but the board had concluded that, until ihe. comprehensive development scheme was finished, it would not be prudent to encroach on the accumu> lated profits.
