" CAPRICE." For Monday next The King's Theatre management announces an extra special attraction, in 4000 ft picture form, of Mrs. Fiske'S great American play, " Caprice," of which the New York World wrote : " This most delightful of stage plays is even more so as done by Mary Pickford in pictures." Miss Pickford sustains the leading part — Mercy, a rough diamond of the mountains — and it is slated that the character gives free scope for the display of that magnetic personality, sweet nature, and electrical vitality for which the young film artist is distinguished, and which has earned for her the title of the world's leading picture player. "Caprice" is described ?s " a play of sunshine and shade, smiles and tears, full of lights and shadows as an April day," The pictures to support tho chief film havo been specially selected, and the management affirms that the programme will be one of tho strongest submitted in Wellington. Box plans for the season open at the Dresden at 10 a.m. to-morrow.
