WELL-KNOWN AIRMAN ARRESTED CHARGE OF ESPIONAGE. (By Telegraph.— Press Associatlon.—Copyright.) (Received May 26, 9 a.m.) / > PARIS. 25th May. A sensation has been caused' by the arrest of M. Clement Bayard, the aviator and airship designer, and two companions , near Cologne on Friday last on a, charge of espionage. They were imprisoned in a common cell : for thirty-six hours. I They are accused of witnessing, the landing of a Zeppelin airship from a considerable distance, though they had procured German permits. .
