LONDON, 24th April. The Wing Trade Club tasted a number of Australian, California^, and South African wines, and decided that the Cawarra (Australian) was head and shoulders above the others. It was prodicted that there was a great future before this wine if the quality was maintained. CAWARRA is situated in the Hunter Valley, N.S.W., and the Lindemann Vineyard ("Cawarra" Wines) was laid down by Dr. Lindemann and carried on by his sons. Dr. Lindemann was an enthusiast on the subject of good wines ac a wholesome beverage, and studied the industry in France. He went through many reverses before finally winning success, but the result was the making of the Cawarra_ reputation, which has been jealously maintained by Dr. Lindemann's sons. The firm's Sydney Wine Collar is claimed_ to be one of the largest city wine cellars in the world. CAWARRA WINES ARE STOCKED PAVID ANDERSON AND SON, 69-75, MOLES\VORTH-STREET, Wellington.
