"Not a. Slave."— ln reply lo enquiry the manager states that the younger children arc only on the stage for ten minutes, and can leave for home at 8.30 p.m. ; remuneration, 5s pelweek. The elder children are on for about twenty minutes altogether, and can leave at 9.30 p.m. Their pay is 7s 6d per week.
