The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cable advice from its Lon-do-i office, dated 18th inst. :— " Current prices for North Island farmers' lots in average condition : Coarse crossbred, 3640's quality, lid to ll^d per lb ; medium crossbred, 44-46's quality, lljd to 12id ; fine crossbred, 50,3 quality. 13^d to 14id. Current prices for South Island farmers' lots (Canterbury style) in average condition : Inferior merino, common, 60-64's quality, lid to ll£d per lb ; superior merino, super, 60-64's quality, 13^1 to 14£ d ; half or quarterbred, 56's quality, 13id to l^d."
