OIL FUEL FOR THE NAVY
FIRST CALL ON A COMPANY'S OUTPUT. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) LONDON. 16th May. It is reported that the British Government, by guaranteeing £2,000,000 to the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, has secured the Admiralty first call on the company's output. OFFICIAL STATEMENT. ~> ' LONDON, 17th May. It is officially denied Jhat the Government is guaranteeing two millions to the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, though it is negotiating a big contract with the company.
