LYING-IN.STATE OP MARINES
PEOPLE FIGHT FOR PLACES IN A HALL. WASHINGTON, 13th May. During the lying*in-state of seamen who were killed in the naval action at Vera Cruz, crowds of people filled the hall at Philadelphia, and fought for places to view the bodies.
