ANIMATED COMPETITION. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received May 15, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 14th May. At the wool sales there was animated competition. Prices for croßsbreda were harder, but for merinos unchanged. (Received May 15, 11. tO a.m.) LONDON, 14th May. At the Wool Bales the following prices Wete realised fof the fleece portions of the clips named: — "Rangatua," top price 12£ d, average lOjjdj "Aldunie," I4d and 12id; "Langiey," lid and 13|d; "BacSkshaven," 12d and lOfd; "Pukentd," lid and 10£ d. Messrs. Murray, Roberta, and Co., Ltd., have this day received the following cablegram, dated 14th ihst., from their London friends, Meesrs, Sanderson, Murray, tod Co, :— "Wool market firm. Sheepskins have advanced |d to 4d per lb."
