The barometer has fallen everywhere, and fast in the South durinc the night, and increasing northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Warning signals tor westerly gales are exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen, Tirltirl, East Cape, Castlepoint, Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, and Foulwind, and at Stephen Island, Nugget Point, and Centre Island. Weather.— The weather will probably prove very boisterous, with rain generally, and heavy rain in the West Coast tfnd southernmost districts, with rivers flooded ; snow on higher levels, and colder weather following.
