m R. E. FOSTER, THE CRICKETER. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.-- Copyright.) (Received May 14, 8.40 a.m.) , LONDON, 13th May. Mr. R. E. Foster, the cricketer, is dead. [Mr. Foster was one of the famous cricket family of that name. He was born on 16th April, 1878. He first played cricket for Malvern, then for Oxford University, and in recent years did signal service for Worcestershire.] (Received May 14, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, 13th May. Mr. Foster died in London. He had been ill for some time from consumption, following diabetes.
