At the wool sales, the following prices were realised for fleece, portions of New Zealand <\lips named : — "Lakes," top 12d, average lid; "Hale Wharanui" 13^d, llgd; "Merciston" 12£ d, ll£d; "Wairore" lid, 10|d; "Kau" 12£ d, llfd. At a meeting of tho Colonial Wool | Merchants' Association it was decided not to Kmit the fourth series. i — — — — MARKET FIRM. (Received May 14, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, 13th May. At the wool sales the market was firm, with competition well maintained for all sorts.
