The suffragette, May Ansell, who yesterday damaged at the Royal Academy Herkomer's portrait of the Duke of Wellington, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. INCITEMENT TO MALICIOUS DAMAGE. CHARGE AGAINST A PUBLISHER. (Received May 14, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, 13th May. Granville Derew appeared in the Police Court on a charge of publishing the Suffragette newspaper on 22nd January last, thereby causing incitement to malicious damage to property. The hearing of the case was adjourned.
