DEPARTURES. , May 14— Arahifra, s.s. (12.45 p.m.), 1596 tons, Ritchie, for Picton TAINUI DUE NEXT TUESDAY. Cable advice has been received by the local 1 office of the Bhaw-Savill Line stating that the Tainui, en route from London to Wellington, arrived at Uobart at 4 p.m. yebterday. The vessel is running early, but owing to the fact that she has 'much work to do at the Tasrnanian port, it is not likely that she will arrive here before Tuesday next. TONGARIRO AT AUCKLAND. An arrival at Auckland this morning was the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro, from London, via way ports. Before coming on to Wellington to complete discharge the vessel will load general cargo at the northern port. \CORINTHIC DUE TO-MORROW. The Shaw-Savill liner Corinthic is to leave Lyttelton at 6 o'clock this evening for Wellington. The vessel lpads here, and will sail for London next Thursday. • 1 THE MURITAI'S MOVEMENTS. The Commonwealth and Dominion liner Muritaj, which is now loading at Wellington, will sail on Sunday for Wanganui roadstead to take in a quantity of meat. She returns to Wellington next Thursday, and after taking in more cargo she will sail for other coastal jjorts to fill up. She leaves here for London in about three weeks' time. HENRIK IBSEN DUE AT AUCKLAND. The United Tyser steamer Henrik Ibsen is due 11b Auckland to-day from Sydney, but- as blie U only a Mow tramp, the probability is she will not arrive until to-morrow. The veb' sel, which is originally from New York, has about GOO tons of cargo for Wellington, and is not expected here before the end of next week. / The Union Company's steamer Kowhai will leave Dunedin iiext.week with stores for the Campbell Islands. According to advice received, tho Nerehana (C. and D. Line), which left Wellington on Sunday, is still at Glsborne. 'l'he vessel is lixed to load at Napier and Lyttelton before, returning here about the 24th inst. She will sail for London two days later. Both the Kamo and the Whangape are due in Wellington on Sunday with coal from tho West Coast. Mr. D. W. Nicholas, who has lately been third oificer of the Aruhura, signed off at, Wellington to-day. 1 , Mr. J. Carroll, purser of the Tarawera, came ashore yesterday. ThD A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Soutbporfc is expected to get away from Newcastle at any time how in continuation of her voyage from New York to Wellington, via Auckland. She is expected here about the 26th May. With a full cargo of hardwood from Bunbury the steamer Borderer arrived at Auckland this morning. She has a part cargo for Wellington. BY TELEGRAPH.
