The Shaw-Savill steamer Tokomaru, on which a rather serious fire occurred at Oisborne, sailed from Auckland early yesterday afternoon for London. The vessel, was originally fixed to sail on the 4th May. She is due at her destination about the 30th June. APARIMA DDE TO-MORROW. The training steamer Aparima is due in Wellington to-morrow from Calcutta, via other Eastern ports and Newcastle. The vessel left Auckland yesterday afternoon, and has 1627 tons of general cargo for this port. She will also put out a Quantity of coal at Wellington, and this will probably keep the vessel here until next Monday. On completion the Apariffla will sail for Lyttelton and Dunedin to put out the balance of her New .^aland consignments. Included in the Aparimn's cargo for Wellington are 2437 bales of kapok, WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. Awarua : Mnitai and Maunganui. PERSONAL. The following changes In masters of vessel* are announced :— Captain W. Stevens, late of the Aorangi, has joined the Warrimoo, in place of Captain Carson, who transferred to the Maitai. Captain Clift, of the latter vessel, will join the Maunganui as master, in place of Captain Worrall, who goes on holiday leave. Captain S. Nicholson has resumed command of the Waitemata, Captain Norton having proceeded to Auckland to join the Katoa. Captain Vint is expected to take command of the Aparima in place of Captain McDonald, who will shortly go on holiday. Mr. E. Kermath, lato of the local office Of the Huddart'Pni'ker Company, has rejoined the Victoria as coastal purser. Mr. E. C. Vellenowath has rejoined the Navua as chief officer, and Mr. A. Pyper has reverted to his former position as second olßcer. Mr. C. Chatfleld, who has been acting second officer, has come ashore for orders. Captain W. Beswick, late chief officer of the Kurow, has arrived in Auckland from Sydney to take up the position of night officer to the Auckland Harbour Board. Mr. 0. G. Neale, chief officer of the Riverina, went ashore at Sydney on holiday leave, and in consequence the second and third officers (Messrs. G. C. Dalziel and J. W. Bras respectively) have each been promoted a step. Mr. Laidlaw has joined the vessel as third ofOcer. WIRELESS FROM THE TONGARIRO. A wireless advice has been received from the New -Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro, en route from London to Wellington, via Capetown, Hobart, and Auckland, stating that she expects to arrive at the last mentioned port at 6 o'clock to-Biorrow morning, She is due here about the 28th inst. CORINTHIC LOADING FOR HOME', ' Having completed discharge of her London cargo at Lyttelton the Shaw, Savili, and Albion Company's liner Corinthic is at present engaged in loading wool, frozen meat, and dairy produce. She is expected at Wellington towards the end of this week to complete operations, and Is scheduled to sail finally for London, vm way ports, on the 21st May. MAKARINI COMING FROM HOME. Cabled information has been received to the effect that the C. and D. Line's steamer MakHrinl sailed from London on the "Cth May for Wellington, via Australian ports, Auckland, and Napier. She is due at this port about the 6th July. In addition to a big cargo the vessel has on board a large contingent of immigrants for Australia. FOR BOSTON AND NEW YORK. iAn arrival at Waltara to-day was the F. and S. Line's steamer Norfolk, from Melbourne. The Vessel has come across to take the May loading for New York and Boston. She is to proceed from Waitara to Lyttelton, oeing due at the southern port on Monday. This will be her final port, and she is scheduled to bihl for America about the 19th in^t. INDRABARAH AT MELBOURNE. Cable advice has been received stating that the Commonwealth and Dominion liner Indrabarah arrived at Melbourne last Saturday after a passage of 41 days from London. The vessel comes on to New Zealand ports, and is due here about the 22nd May. The Regulus left Greymouth last night with coal for Napier. She is due here on Saturday to load for Nelson and tho West Coast. Due here On Friday from Melbourne, via southern ports, the Maunganui will discharge some 435 tons of cargo before stilling at 5 p.m. the same day for Sydney, To continue Homeward loading the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Opawa was to leavo Auckland thh afternoon for Waitttra and Wellington. She is timed to sail finally for London from this port on the 21st May. The Corinna is due back in Wellington next Tuesday with a load of cheese from New Plymouth for transhipment to the Corinthic.
