HURLIKG CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. It was resolved at a meeting held at St. Patrick's Hall, Boulcott-street, last evening, to form a hurling clhb in Wellington. Mr. T. P. O'Sullivan, of Auckland, explained the game, and undertook to supply sticks ' within a month. It is expected that matches will be arranged during the present season. Overseventj members joined the club. The following officers were elected :• -Patron, Mr. Martin Kennedy; president, Mr. L. O'Brien ; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. M'Parland, J. M'Donald, J. Nolan, M. Broßnan, J. T. Foley; treasurer, Mr. H. Fahy; secretary, Mr. M. M'Carthy; club captain, Mr. F. Sheehan ; management committee 1 , Messrs. J. Higgins, S. O'Sullivan, P. Cassidy, and J. Skiimer.
