NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
June next will again find the dairy and breeders' associations in congress at Palmerston North. Dates and times are allotted to National Dairy, New Zealand Romney Marsh Breeders, New Zealand Holstein Breeders, North Island Poultry, pigeon, and Canary, and North Island Hheep Breeders' Associations, also the executive of tho Dominion Council of Agriculture. Preparations ara well forward for the show, which promises to be well in advance of the preceding ones. Tuesday, the first day of the show, which has hitherto be,en a blank as far as ring events are concerned, is this year to be devoted to school sports. Wednesday is allotted to the Wanganui-Te Ante College football matches; Thursday to horse leapin, hounds' . display, etc. Friday will again be allotted to the "soccer" game, Palmerston North versus Wellington,
A meeting will be held at the V.M.C.A. Rooms on Monday evening, at 515 1 o'clock, to consider the proposed vHt of Dan Crawford, Missionary and Explorer, and author of "Thinking Black."
