As the Victoria, which arrived in port this morning from northern ports, is one day behind her time-table, she is to omit the usual call at Lyttelton this trip. She sails for Duuedin direct this afternoon, and on Monday is to be placed in dock at Port Chalmers for cleaning und painting. On her northern trip next week the Victoria will again be one day late in arriving here, being due on Friday instead of Thursday. She will be despatched for northern ports the same dny. SEAMAN INJURED. During the Zealandic's voyage fr6m London to Dunedin heavy weather was experienced on the run down the South African coast, and as a result an A.B. named L. E. Clarke fell from the boat deck to the main deck, sustaining injuries so severe that Captain Breen decided to land him at Capetown for medical attention. The unfortunate seaman Wits sent ashore on the Bth April. FRUIT CARGO COMING. A cablegram was received last evening stating that the Union Company's Island steamer Navua left Suva at 6 p.m. on Thursday for Auckland and Wellington. . She is due at Auckland on Monday, and at this '■port the following Thursday, Her cargo is largely comprised of bananas. , The Mapourika was unable to get into Greymouth yesterday, and was signalled back to Westpoi't. She was to leave We&tport at midday to-day for Nelson, sailing from The Port at 10 a.m. to-mo/row for Wellington. She is due here ribout B*p'clock to-morrow night.
