President Huerta, in opening Congress, asserted that his whole purpose was to restore and maintain peace in Mexico! He was willing to make any sacrifice to achieve this. It is understood that General Villa is still fighting around Torreon. The capital is calm, though it is fully understood that if Torreon falls a siege of Mexico City is probable.
