FORMATION OF A ROAD
.«*. — .—. — The Petotte Borough Council has agreed to contribute one-sixth o[ the cost of the formation of the road between the Hutt pipe bridge and the Waiwetu bridge) as arranged at the recent conference of the local bodies interested. Provision is made that a footpath be laid down on the northern side of the road, the work to be done to the approval of the engineer of the Lower Hutt Borough Council. It has also been decided to call attention to tho f-haip angles at which the >-oad joins the Waiwetu bridge, with 11 request that it be moderated. «
