Mr. J. Coates, general manager of the National Bank will shortly be leaving Wellington for London, via Vancouver, on six months' leave of absence. Mr. D. W. Duthie, managei of the National Bank at Auckland, will be acting general manager, and Mr. If. Lawson will be acting-manager at Auckland.
