Company's new > »team» er Borda made a successful trial trip from Greenock to London. [The Borda, built by Messrs. Caird a.nd Co v of Greenock. ie'whatis known, as tho intermediate class of litter. She was launched on 17th December last. The Borda. is a duplicate of the liner Berima, and is similar to other vessels employed in the P. and 0. branch ser- ' vice. Her dimensions are :— 'Length, \ 515 f t; breadth, 62ft 6in ; depth, 42ft ;■ gross tonnage, about 11,000 tons. Sheis designed for the service to Australia, > via the Cape of Go.od Hope, ahd is fitted to carry passengers and cargo.)
