The Victoria College Graduates' Association held its ninth annuat meeting at the College last evening. The membership, according to the an.nual report, showed a decrease from 126 to 117, but tho subscriptions had increased from £6 5s to £6 13s. Tho association has a credit balance of £5 10s 4£d as against £2 10s 4d last year. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. S. Eiehelbatim, M.A., LL.B. j hon. secretary, Mr. C. J. Cooke, 8.A. ; hon. treasurer, Mr. G. G. Watson, M.A., LL.B. ; committee, Misses E. Watson, M.A., M. Hales, 8.A., Messrs. 11. E. Evans, 8.A., LL.M., P. Broad, L.L.8. ; lion, auditor. Mr. G. F. Dixon. Tho meeting passed a recommendation to the committee to consider the present situation of University reform, and to de. vite means for prosecuting the movement. A resolution was carried deploring the continued refusal of tho Government to appoint a Royal Commission to enquire into University Education in Now Zealand.
