ASSOCIATION

A team from H.M.S. Torch played representatives of the V.M.C.A. at Miramar on Saturday afternoon, the game resulting, in a draw, each side scoring three goals. Spencer, Muir, and Andrews scored for the Torch, and Henry, Stirratt, and Hibbard for V.M.C.A. The game proved an interesting one, the filial goal equalising the scores not being made until a few minutes before time. The left full-back for the Torch team ( earned a reputation for himself by his excellent kicking.
