POLITICAL ADDRESSES
Sir Joseph Ward is due back from Auckland to-day. He will deliver political addresses in the Marlborough district and at Nelson this week, and at the Wellington Town Hall on Bth April. The Hon. F. M. JB. Fisher has decided to deliver a political address in the Town Hall on Friday evening next.
Mr. George E. Sadd, manager of the Wellington swimming team which visited Blenheim on the occasion of the New Zealand _ Championship Meeting, was the recipient of a presentation at the Thorndon baths on Saturday by members of the team. The presentetton 'took the form of a framed enlargement of the representative polo team which Mr. Sadd poached. To-day, Major-General Godley, Commandant of the Forces, paid an official visit to H.M.S. Pyramus. He was received by Viscount Kelburn, who is in command of the waisln'p. A salute of live guns in honour of General Godley was tired at noon by the Pyiamus.
