CLAIM FOR COMMISSION

Reserved judgment has been delivered by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., in the case in which John Henry Hooper, land agent, of Wellington,- claimed from David Morris Owens, settler ; of Wellington, the sum of £150 commission on the exchange of the defendant's property in Wellington for a farm property belonging to one Cole, and £50 damages for wrongfully terminating plaintiff's authority to act as sole agent in tho sale of defendant's properties, and withdrawing from sale the farm purchased from Cole. His Worship, gave judgment for £150, with £12 2s costs, and non-suited the plaintiff on the claim for £50 damages.
