AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES
Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. will sell on Monday next, at 2 p.m., at the Post and Telegraph Stores, Waterlooquay, on behalf of the Department, three mares and a spring cart ; these will be on view on the morning of the sale. On Tuesday, at 1 p.m., at the residence, No. 13a, George-street, under instructions from Mr. W. B_. Fisher, who is leaving for England, the firm are selling his household furniture. On Wednesday, Bth prox., at 2.30 p.m., at the Chamber of Commerce, Messrs. Bethune and Co. will submit a property in Blucher-avenue (off Mem-street), comprising freehold land, 35ft by 103 ft, with two cottages, Nos. 3 and 5, thereon of four rooms, with bathroom and scullery. On the same day, by order of the firsl?| mortgagee, they are" submitting a property at Eastbourne ; comprising freehold land, containing 20 perches, being part sections 37 and 39. Harbour District. On the land' stands a concrete " arid wooden dwelling of four rooms above, and storage room below. The firm insert an amended list of business and residental properties; also a number of houses to let, both furnished and ■ unfurnished, offices, and storeroom accommodation. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will hold A sale on Monday next of household furniture, at the residence, No. 336, Woolcombe-street (close to Ingestrestreet), commencing at 1.30 o'clock. On Wednesday, Ist April, commencing at 1 o'clock they will hold a* sale sale of household furniture, including upright grand piano, the contents of a nine-roomed house removed from Khandallah, and at 2 o'clock they will sell oak fumed furniture. On Thursday they will hold a sale an their rooms of £500 worth of unredeemed pledges, commencing at 1.30 o'clock. On Saturday, 4th April, they will hold a sale of 300 head of pedigree poultry at Glencof Poultry Ranch, Karori (next Park), at 2 o'clock.' Messrs. Ha rcourt and Co. will sell on Tuesday, 21sfc April, 1914, at 2.30 p.m., by order of the mortgagee, & property comprising an area of over 500 actes, situated about 1 mile from the Otaki railway station, known as Mr. Booth's estate ; also on the same date a block of land at Karori, containing over 20 acres, and having a. frontage of 316 ft to the main road. On Tuesday, 7th April, the firm will sell on account of Colonel E. S. Heai'd, at the residence 7, Oriental-terrace, his household furnitftre and effects. The firm also insert their weekly selection of houses for sale by private treaty, or to be let furnished and unfurnished in Wellington and suburbs. On Friday, 17th April, at their rooms, the property situated in Sussex-street (Basin Reserve) s with a. six-roomed house thereon will be submitted. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will sell on Monday, at 2 o'clock, at the shop premises of Mr. G. Lindley, the whole of his stock of furniture. At the residence 26, Brougham-street, they sell under instructions from Mr. T. Mayer the contents of 6 rooms. The firm will conduct their weekly sale of furniture at their rooms, 26, Brandonstreet, on Wednesday, at 1.30 p.m. Under instructions from the William Danks Company they sell the whole of their machinery and fittings ; the sale to be held on Thuisday at 1.30 p.m. A notice appears that furs left over fiom the auction sale will be sold privately up to 5 p.m., Monday. Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. are holding an auction sale at 60, Lambton-quay, of E.P. ware and jewellery, at 1.30 p.m. on Monday, and on Tuesday will sell the contents oi two houses at T. 30 p.m., at 60, Lambton-quay, opposite Government Buildings. Messrs. Laeiy and Co., Ltd., advertise a list of produce, etc., including one electric litt, which will be sold on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. on tlie premises, Victoria Buildings.
