At the annual meeting of the Taranaki Oil and Freehold Co. last night a resolution was carried deploring the action of the directorate of the Blenheim Company in organising a deputation to the Minister of Mines unknown to other companies' and making a statement, considered by the meeting to be unwarranted, about the flooding of the field, thus causing loss to many shareholders in the Taranaki Oil Wells, Ltd. Sympathy was also expressed with the Advisory Board of the latter company.
