GOVERNMENT CRITICISED. LIBERAL CAMPAIGN IN THE NORTH.

DARGAVILLE, 26th March. In connection with the northern tour ?( ,- L i beral members, Messrs. MacDonald (Bay of Plenty), and Thomson (Wallace) were accorded an enthusiastic reception at Aratapu on Wednesday evening. Mr. Coates. member for Kaipara, and - Mr. Hoe, selected Liberal candidate for Kaipara, were also present. Messrs. Mac Donald and Thomson both made able policy speeches, severely criticised the present reform Government. Mr. Hoe also addressed ,the meeting, and had an attentive and favourable reception. At the conclusion a vote ot thanks and confidence in Sir Joseph Ward and the Liberal Party was carearned unanimously. To-night addresses on similar lines are being given at, Dargaville.
