TEACHERS' CAMP
On Monday next about 100 male and 200 female teachers from the city and ■the Hutt and Horowhenua -wards of the Wellington district will go into camp, under the auspices of the Physical Edu- i cation Department, for the purpose of I going through a course of drill to fit j them for the task of imparting physical education, to the children. The men will '> go into camp on the Hutt Racecourse, and the -women will do their training at various halls in the city. The women will assemble at the Clyde-qnay School at 10 a.m. on Monday and be formed ] into equacfe to attend at the various halls which have been allotted : — Masonic Hall, Boulcott-street ; Sydneystreet Schoolroom (two classes) ; Alexandra Hall, Abel Smith-street ; and New Centcry Hall, Kent-terrace. Female teachers from remote schools -who arrive by tbe midday train will assemble at Clyde-quay School at 2 p.m. The course of training will be from 30th Maroh to 9th April inclusive. The men will be provided with accommodation and maintenance on Hutt Park.
