CRICKET MID-WEEK ASSOCIATION

The final round of the mid-week cricket competition was commenced on the Basin Reserve yesterday afternoon. Oriental lost six wickets for 9 runs — mainly, no doubt, to the failing light towards the end of the play. M'Mahon, for Artillery, scored 99 out of a total of 199 for bis side.
