At the meeting of the Harbour Board last night it was decided that the board donate the sum of £50 to the citizens' fund for the acquisition of the Day's Bay bush For commercial transport and passenger service, the Argyll motor vehicle has set a standard in New Zealand. Argyll motor-buses have made a pronounced success of the Timaru municipal motor service, and have been adopted for the Kelburne motor-bus system and the Pahiatua-Pongaroa motor mail service, among others, while the Argyll motor lorry is^ widely used by public bodies and private firms for transport purposes.
