Caillaux to Madame Dupre were de- , stroyed, but Madame Dupre kept photo» graphs of them, 'When M. Calmette - heard this he offered twenty thousand v francs for the photographs, which was "' declined. When the letter signed by "Jo" was published in the Figaro, Ma- . dame Caillaux was justified in supposing > that the two others were in M.
