BULLS, This Day. The Rangitikei Racing Club's Annual Meeting commenced to-day in fine weather, though windy. The course is in good order and there is a large attendance. Results,: — Scott Memorial Handicap, 6 furlongs. — R.itana, 7.9, 1 ; Simple Sam. 7.7. 2 ; Tc Houhou, 7.0, 3. Won easily by three lengths. Time, Imm 16sec. All 'started.
Maiden Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs.— His Imminence, 9.0, 1 ; Grey Guard, 8.8, 2 ; Hoopoe, 8.8., 3. , Scratched— Ruapuhi and Bivouac. Won, by half a length. Time, lmin 33 l-5se k c. Ohakea Hack Hurdles, one mile and three-quarters. — Jackman, 10.2. 1 ; Huia, 10.13, 2, Fldiist, 9.2, 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min 23isec. , NEW ZEALANDERS SUCCESS AT SANDOWN PARK. (»T TILEGRAPU— SPECIAL TO TM» POST.) DUNEDiN, This, Day. At Sandown Park races last Wednesday, the Otago-owned Jack Ashore won the Hurdle Race by fifteen lengths, in 2inin 57s.ee. The winner was ridden by Jarvis of Dunedin.
