Admiral Palander's expedition to the Antarctic is intended to complete Professor Nordenskjold's investigation of Graham Land. Its base will be on the east qoaat of j the Antarctic Sound. Special attention will be paid to the i mountain range and the possible connection of the mountain system with South America, also fossil formations, the glacier process, and atmospheric varia- , tions.
