HARVEST RESULTS

NEW SOUTH WALES REPORTS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) SYDNEY, 19th March. The Government statisticians' reports on the New South Wales harvest give the following results :—: — Area under wheat in 1913-14, 3.141,316 acres ; production, 36,860,000 bushels, averaging 11.7 bushels to the acre, compared with 2,867,292 acres in 191213 ; production, 32,487,336 bushels, averaging 14.6 bushels to the acre. The hay production for 1913-14 was 587,770 tons, compared with 779,500 tons for 1912-13: The wheat report states that the production i 6 4,373,000 bushels above the previous best record, and five millions under the estimate issued in December.
