KAIKOURA AItP.IVES FROM LONDON. After an uneventful passage' from London, via ports, the New Zealand Shipping Cotn|)iin>'b steamer Kaikoura arrived in port about 9 o'clock last evening, and anchored in the stream. This morning at 8 o'clock she berthed at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf. Throughout the whole voyage fine weather was experienced. The Vessel sailed from London on the 22nd January, moderate southerly winds being met with on the run to ToncritVe, where she arrived on the 28th. She sailed direct for Hobart the same day. Moderate winds -were experienced to the Cape of Good Hope, which point was passed on thel3th February, and moderate S.W. and N,\V. winds were experienced, across the Southern Ocean. Hobart was reached at 0.41 a.m. on the 6th March, and after landing six passengers and 900 tons of cargo departure for Wellington was taken at 11.24 a.m. on Friday last. A good passage was made across tlie Tastnan Sea, Farewell Spit being passed at 11.30 a.m. yesterday. The vessel arrived here as above. No passengers were brought for New Zealand, and after berthing this morning discharge of 1024 packages of parcel post and 5900 tons of c/irgo was commenced. Homeward bound, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunui called at Monte Video on Monday last. She» sailed from Auckland for London on the 18th February. TURAKINA AT PLYMOUTH. From Wellington, via way ports, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina arrived at Plymouth on Monday last. She cleared tliis port on the 231h January for London. OPAWA REPORTED. Information has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Opawa, en route from London to Dunedin, passed the Cape of Good Hope on Sunday last. The vessel sailed from London on the 12th February, and is due at Dunedin about tke end of this month. LANOIIOLM DUE TO-MORROW, The steamer Laiigholm. which is runnjng uuder charter to the Shaw. Savill, and Albion Company, sailed from Blulf last evening for Wellington to continue Homeward loading. She is due liei'e to-morrow, and after lifting the local portion will proceed to Auckland to complete. THE SYDNEY BOAT. The Union Company steamer Manuka arrived in Welltuitloii from Sydney direct at 8 o'clock tliis morning, and an hour and a half later, when prntic(ue had been granted, berthed at No. 1 north. Queen's Wharf. The vessel left the New South Wales port just before 1 o'clock on Saturday last, and the trip across tho Tasman was beautifully tine and quite uneventful. There was not a very large number of passengers aboard. To-morrow, at C p.m., the Manuka will sail for Melbourne, via south- . el'li ports and Hobart. The Arahura left Nelson at 0 o'clock this morning for Wellington.
