JURY'S RIDER AT AN INQUEST; (BY TELEORWH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) HAMILTON. This Day. At the inquest on John William Shannon, acting fireman, who was killed at Frankton station, evidence showed that he had been working twelve hours continuously. He was putting the brake on a truck when ho got jammed between the ( truck and a coal bin. A Verdict of accidental death was returned and a rider was added stating that the jury considered the firemen's hours were too long and urging a reduction.
