Enquiry has failed to disclose a second will by Cardinal Rampolla. [Cardinal Rampolla's will, made in 1899, leaving £40,000 to his sister, 'has not been granted probate, owing to impending litigation. Princess Altieri, wife of the Duke of Campobello, the Cardinal's, nephew, v from whom she is living apctrt, claims the existence of a later will in favour of her sons, and that she is their guardian. A search previously made for the document, however, proved fruitless.]
