SUICIDE WHILE INSANE

At an inquest concerning the death of William Coats, tho following verdict was returned i — "That deceased died from poison self-administered, while he was in an unsound state of mind." Coats was an old man, a widower, living happily with his daughter and son, but he had been despondent since he had had a recent seizure.
