A POLICEMAN'S BLUFF.

Both assumed a, threatening attitude, but when the policeman said he would blow out theiv btailis they dropped thell' \v*apotis and held, up their hands.- Witness handcuffed them and "took them to the police station. Th© safe was identified as the property of a local brewery. The office had been forcibly entered, drawers forced open, papers streWll about, ahd tli6 saf©, which contained valuable documents, taken away. The Stipendiary complimented vhe constable upon his plucky bluff.
