Tho steamship Roma, of the Fabro Line, arrived at New York from Marseilles with a number of immigrants, and it Was discovered that she had cases of typhus on board. This is the first ship in 20 years that has reached New York with typhus. One of the passengers had died from the disease and was buried at sea, one was in a dying condition, and the health authorities found 30 others on boaTct who were infected. There was much distress among the immigrants on board.
