LODGE MEETING

The Excelsior Lodge of tjruids held its quarterly summoned meeting, J.P.A. Bro. O'Sullivan presiding, Tho receipts of the previous meeting amounted to £5 14s lOd. Tho bards reported on sick membstt, and sick nay and accounts were passed amount* ing to £96 7s 4d. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the visitors, coupled with 'the name of V.A. Bro. Abel, Pacific, who replied, and also spoke on tho aims and benefits of the Druids' Sports and Pastime Club. Tho quarterly meeting of Coronation Lodge, ' No. 26. U.A.0.D., was held at St. Thomas's Schoolroom, Bro. F. Beer, A.D., presiding. There was a large attend' ance of members. One hew candidate was initialed and two proposed for membership. During tho meeting Bro. J. Rogers Was presented with & Past Arch collar and framed diploma (or services rendored to the lodge. It was decided to pay an official visit ta the Melrose Lodge at its uoxt meeting.
