Bruce, late chief officer of the Tc Anau, was to join the Taviuni at Dunediu to-day. TAINUI LEFT RIO DE JANEIRO. Homeward bound from Wellington the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's X.M.S. Tainui sailed from Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday lastone day ahead of her time-table. The vessel sailed from Wellington oil the 25th January, and is due at London, after calling at Teueritle and Plymouth, on the Bth March. I WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following steamers will probably be within wireless range this evening : — Maori, Wahine, Moeraki. Ulimaroa, Rlverina, Navuv, Matatua, Maheno, and H.M.S. Philomel. SAN FRANCISCO SERVICE. R.M.S. Tahiti left San Francisco for Weilinglon on the 4th February, and was due ut Papeete, en route, lust Monday. Yesterday the vessel should have left Rarotonga direct for this port, and, providing she is running to time, will arrive at Wellington next, Tliuri>day. She will sail for Sydney at 6 p.m. the next day. ' R.M.S. Aorangi will leave Sydney to-morrow afternoon for Wellington, en route to San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. She will make this port early on Thursday morning next, and after loading general cargo will sail at 5 p.m. on Friday for the American port. Tha Aorangi is due at her destination about theilOth March. R.M.S. Moana left Wellington on the 30th January last for San Francisco, and was due there yesterday. She sails on her return trip to Australasia on the 4tli March, and should arrive here ou the 3ls-t of that month. The Union Company's steamer Taviuni was fixed to leave Dunedin to-day for the Chatham Islands, where she will load sheep for Lytteltou. To-morrow the Karamu will call in at Wellington to replenish her bunkers before going to Picton to load chaff for Onehunga. The liner Star of India is due at Wellington from Lyttelton on Tuesday next to complete Homeward loading, fcjhe will sail for London about the end of the week.
